The P3 Process
Protect • Produce • Prosper — a disciplined, three-pronged approach toward managing your family's wealth.
Three Coordinated Strategies. One Integrated Plan.

Protect
Preserve & Position
Downside protection through principal-protected products, involving structured notes and other protective strategies. Protective measures are critical to success, especially when conducting tax-efficient strategies including Roth conversions.

Produce
Generate Income
Contingent coupon structured notes with memory features designed to deliver significantly higher potential income than traditional fixed income. Income can be either spent down or reinvested into future income notes, allowing for a healthy compounding opportunity.

Prosper
Grow Over Time
Tactical asset management using technical analysis to add risk in uptrends and reduce risk in downtrends — targeting long-term growth with active risk-protection oversight.
ProtectSafeguarding Capital First
Protection is the foundation. We seek to limit the impact of severe market declines while still positioning for growth — often in coordination with tax-efficient strategies.
Growth-Oriented Structured Notes
Bank notes designed for long-term capital growth, often with deep downside risk protection and that can be accompanied with FDIC insurance. Features may include uncapped upside participation, dual-directional returns, or 100% principal-protected structures.
Principal Protected Products
Selected notes and strategies where principal is protected at maturity, providing a defined floor while retaining strong upside earnings potential. (subject to issuer credit risk - can be designed to include FDIC insurance)
Learn MoreTax Efficiency Integration
Protection strategies are frequently paired with Roth conversions, tax-loss harvesting, and coordinated tax planning so the portfolio and tax plan reinforce each other. Converting a Roth IRA without meaningful downside risk protection may lead to overpayment of taxes.
Buffer, Barrier & Autocall Features
Most structures include downside risk protection and early call opportunities, allowing capital to be returned if markets perform well while limiting loss if barriers or buffers hold.

ProduceGenerating Meaningful Income
Our income strategies center on contingent coupon structured notes with memory features, designed to pursue meaningfully higher income potential than traditional fixed income — income that can be spent down or reinvested into future notes for compounding.
Key Features
- Barriers typically apply to both the coupon payment and principal at maturity, with specific levels varying by note.
- Memory feature: a missed coupon can potentially be recovered later if the underlying stocks clear the barrier on a future observation date.
- Notes are typically diversified across multiple issuers and underlying stocks to help manage concentration risk.
- Income is contingent, not guaranteed — a missed barrier can mean a missed or reduced coupon, although a memory feature may help recover it later.
- Buffers absorb losses up to the stated buffered range reducing principal risk exposure.

ProsperLong-Term Growth Through Tactical Management
While protection and income provide the foundation, Prosper focuses on compounding capital over time using an active, rules-based approach grounded in technical analysis. Learn more
Tactical Asset Management
Typically 80% ETFs and 20% individual stocks. Quantitative technical analysis is used to increase risk exposure in confirmed uptrends and reduce exposure in downtrends.
Active Risk Management
The goal is not to eliminate volatility but to avoid the full brunt of prolonged declines. Historical secular trends reinforce the value of downside discipline.
Target Outcome
Seeking 8%–12%+ average annual total return over full market cycles, with the flexibility to shift more toward income as client needs evolve.
Philosophy in Practice
We manage risk actively rather than relying solely on diversification. Emotional bias is reduced through systematic processes supported by technical tools and ongoing monitoring.
How The Three Prongs Work TogetherA Flexible Framework, Not a Rigid Allocation
Allocations are customized to each client’s risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and tax situation. The mix can shift over time — for example, increasing Produce as income becomes a higher priority.

Moving Forward Together
- 1
All decisions begin with a plan. A “do nothing” current base case plan is constructed. We then explore various tax and conversion strategies based on your specific needs and goals.
- 2
Confirm suitability relative to your overall portfolio risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, tax situation and overall needs.
- 3
Discuss tax implications and how the P3 approach integrates with Roth conversions, distributions, or other planning priorities.
- 4
Decide on allocation size across Protect, Produce, and Prosper and establish an implementation timeline.
- 5
Review specific term sheets for any structured notes under consideration (barriers, observation dates, maturity, call features, memory terms). Evaluate new-issue availability or negotiate custom terms directly with banks to arrive at a specific objective.
- 6
Allocate and implement each of the P3 strategies as discussed in order to work towards your overall short-, mid-, and long-range objectives.
Important Disclosures
This page is for educational and discussion purposes only and does not constitute an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security or investment strategy. Structured notes are complex instruments; potential income and growth figures assume outcomes that are not guaranteed and depend on underlying performance relative to barriers, and principal is at risk. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Specific notes are subject to the final terms in their offering documents; availability, pricing, and terms may change.
